The central challenge was to merge two contrasting aesthetics into a single, coherent visual language. The city is raw, hard, and angular, while ballet embodies grace, lightness, and precision. Our task was to let these extremes collide yet find harmony, creating a narrative that highlights both their tension and their balance. In doing so, we sought to capture the versatility of the brand and the expressive range of the performer.

Collaborating with Brazilian dancer Maria da Talent was an inspiring process. Her performance captured the essence of the project, balancing strength and delicacy in every movement. With New Balance giving us full creative freedom, we explored pastel palettes, neon accents, and raw street textures to push the visual narrative further. The final piece feels authentic to the urban environment while refined in its expression—a true reflection of the brand’s dynamic identity.
